Introduction

Today we will explore how to set up a project and items in C-MAP.

Create Customer Entity

Before setting up projects and items, first create a customer record.

Enter Customer Details

Enter company name, contact name, email, phone number, and image. This metadata will be linked to your projects.

Open Projects Menu

Navigate to the Projects menu and select the customer for whom you are creating this project.

Enter Project Details

Enter the Project Name, Description, and Comments. Add any additional specifications for this project.

Select Project Cover Image

The image you select will be used as the cover image when your report is generated.

Customise Project Settings

Configure default values for weather conditions that determine whether a day is suitable for continuing work.

Customise Report

Customise the primary colour of the report and hide or show different sections.

Add Custom Disclaimer

Display a disclaimer with a custom message in the generated report.

Create Equipment Entity

List equipment used for the project. This will be included in the report and serve as a reference for calibration.

Navigate To Homepage

Once you have set up your project and items, navigate to the home page to find the task and activity tracking menu.

Access all menus for various tasks and record different activities associated with them.

Capture Weather Conditions

Begin by capturing weather conditions data. Include details such as cloud cover, rainfall, wind, air temperature, humidity, and substrate temperature.

Add Photos To Activity

Add photos by selecting from your gallery, importing from file storage options, or taking a picture with the camera.

Save Weather Condition Record

Once satisfied with all details, click Submit to save the weather conditions data.

Open Surface Preparation Annotation

Once all activities are recorded, sign off for the day by selecting "Sign Off Reports Activity".

Provide your name, position, company, comments, and signature. These will be included at the end of the report.

Open C-Map Application Homepage

Visit the C-MAP application homepage and browse tasks and activities to locate the report generation option.

Locate Reports Option

Find the 'Reports' option within the application menu to proceed with report management.

Click the Reports menu to access report-related features and options.

Select Create Report Option

Click on Reports and select Create to start generating a new report.

Enter Report Title

Enter the report title and comments. Select items to include, specify dates, and choose the report type.

Submit Report Request

Once all details are complete, click Submit to initiate the report generation process.

Preview Report Before Finalizing

You have the option to preview what the report will look like before creating the final version.

To review the report layout, click on Preview to view a draft of the final report.

When satisfied with the preview, click Generate Report to start the report generation job.
