Task & Activity Tracking
This tutorial highlights how the C-MAP app helps you capture and track tasks and activities effectively. It addresses common challenges in project management by streamlining data entry and record keeping for better oversight.
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Navigate To Homepage
Once you have set up your project and items, navigate to the home page where you will find a new menu for task and activity tracking.

Access Task Menus And Records
Here, you can access all the other menus for various tasks and record different activities associated with them. As you can see, we have selected the Railway Bridge project and Pillar 1, which we created in the last demo.

Capture Weather Conditions
We will start by capturing weather conditions data. Begin by selecting the weather conditions and entering today's weather data as needed. Here, you can include details such as cloud cover, rainfall, wind, and wind measurement specifics. Additionally, you can document surface conditions for the day, including air temperature, humidity, and substrate temperature.

Add Photos To Activity
You can also add more photos by clicking on the photo capture icon. You can select photos from your gallery, import them from various file storage options, or open the camera to take a picture.

Save Weather Condition Record
Once you are satisfied with all the details, click Submit to save the weather conditions data.

Record Blasting Times
Next, we will review how to record blasting time data for the item.

Record Blasting Activity Details
Begin by recording the start or stop action.

Open Surface Preparation Annotation
Then, click on the drawing related to the surface preparation activity. This will open the drawing annotation view. If you recall from a previous tutorial, this is the drawing we created and associated with this item.

Select Brush Size For Marking
We offer a variety of brush sizes to choose from. After making your selection, you can draw on the image to highlight areas that have been blasted and link them to this blasting activity record.

Save Marked Surface Area
Once you have marked the area, click on "Save" to store your annotations on the drawing.

Submit Blasting Activity Record
Once you are satisfied with all recorded details, click on submit to save the blasting activity information.

Explore Additional Activity Options
Next, continue recording activities as needed. Additional tasks may include surface preparation, chloride testing, painting durations, coating inspections, harness testing, and holiday testing. You can also attach extra photos and documents to include them in the generated report.

Add Sign Off To Report
Once all activities are recorded, you can sign off for the day by selecting "Sign Off Reports Activity" from the menu.

Select Company And Save Signature
Here, you will need to provide details such as your name, position, company, comments, and signature. These signatures will be included at the end of the report.

What You've Learned
This demo showcased how to efficiently track and record various tasks and activities using the cmap app, including capturing weather conditions, blasting times, and adding annotations. You can now confidently manage your project data and generate comprehensive reports with photos and sign-offs.
